I graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Mathematics and Statistics. My major GPA was 3.90. Also, I passed 7 actuarial exams (P, FM, MFE, CAS ST, CAS LC, C, CAS Exam 5) and CFA level 1 and level 2.
Experience
I'm a risk analyst in a global bank, but I also love tutoring since I enjoy helping students. - I was a math tutor (from pre algebra to calculus) in a tutoring center for 10 hours per week for 3 semesters. I did both individual tutoring as well as group tutoring, depending on how many people came to me during the tutoring time. - I taught an actuarial exam class to ~40 UC Berkeley Undergraduates that prepared them for the exam. I had experience outlining a curriculum, and teaching complicated examples in simple words. - I was a grader for math upper division classes for 3 semesters. I had experience checking what the common mistakes students make are and giving comments appropriately.
